Hi from the woods of Central Missouri. Just another newbie here to introduce myself. I am a life long gearhead, started at age 13 with a cheep set of hand wrenchs and a 57 Plymouth 2 door hardtop my Dad helped me drag home in order for me to quit tearing Dads family car apart to see how it worked. I graduated into 55 chevys, went through the big block muscle cars, matured enough to realize I shouldn't be racing on the street, and moved into drag racing. I still have the need for speed. Traditional hot rods are what keep my hands moving, my favorite is our 1940 Ford Deluxe Coupe, with a 49 Merc flathead mill and some real goodies. She is no trailer queen, she is no show winner, but she gets a lot of looks for a gal that is getting ready to turn 70 years old.
Thanks for the welcoming. I am not good with the picture thing yet, although there are a couple of pics of the Blue Coupe posted yesterday in the Pictures & Albums section. Hope they are easy to find. I will work on improving my computer skills. New techno stuff is intimidating.
