So my old man has the awesome Jamey Jordan Bead rolling machine, and hes pretty excited to roll some art, now here's our huge BIG problem, if we find some artwork on the internet, how the heck can we transfer it on the Aluminum? Every video we watch from the series has pre drawn artwork already on it!(prefect lettering etc) Only thing I could find was tedious cutting of poster board and then tracing that....isn't there a better way? anyone want to jump in and let us in on the secret??? Thanks so much guys!
Pics are a big help or a link to a video I somehow missed...
(trying to be the good girlfriend here);)

  2. Not the quickest but if you draw a grid on the image and a corresponding grid on the metal it makes it much easier to draw the original image as you only have to copy a small segment of each line in each box of the grid. Just Google transferring image using grid and there will be lots of tutorials. This method also allows you to increase or decrease the size of the image fairly easily as well

    OR
Blow it up full size, then use Transfer Paper.

Or go to Michaels and buy transfer paper. I think that is the name. It is like carbon paper. Place transfer paper on metal. Place art work over that and trace over art work.

Or get an overhead projector from your third grade teacher, put the artwork in the projector and the alum on the wall, and trace the image onto the alum at the size you like. Totally adjustable.
