on the hamb shirt deal: the aren't available very often so ya gotta keep your eyes peeled for when they do come around. the one place you will always be able to find them, though, is at the hamb drags the last saturday of august at MoKan dragstrip down between joplin, missouri and pittsburg, kansas. an excellent place to take a big block ford coupe, i might add.

on the grandma trade in deal: you'll prolly have to ask ryan if marcie will let him have an extra around...

look for me saturday; i'll be the old guy with graying hair and beard wearing a car shirt.

MY GAWD where do I start....hmmmm on the way there nice weather, then about 25 miles outside of Columbia BOOM a friggin blizard..... So I am tailling a semi (letting him pave the way) We go to p*** a nother semi and a gust of wind pushes him into my lane..........sends me into the slop on the shoulder ........fishtail left, right left, right, finally smack the Semi at his rear trailer tires... Sends my trucks *** end about a foot in the air and sets me on the straight and narrow. haha other than that COLD and a decent swap.............................

  16. There were some deals to be found there Todd, saw RP and Gordon.....Me and Greg and Scarliner stole some goodies and missed a cheap 4 link setup by"waiting" a tad too long for a "better' deal.

I scored this flaming river steering column for $140.00 still in the box. I already had the 62 steering wheel. I also got the gas door new for $10.00 to cover my master cylinder.

I woke up this morning at 5:00 looked outside saw the wind blowing snow like a 2.00 ****** and said screw it and went back to bed. It worked out good for me. I pushed snow with my 4 wheeler and made 200.00 for hot rod parts.

    Were there any outside vendors?

Considering how bad the roads and weather was, I was impressed by the turn out, of lookers and sellers. Not as large as it has been, but a good turn out.Ithink everyone in this area is just sick of lousy winter weather and decided to get out and try to enjoy themselves, no matter what! There were some good deals to be had.Over all, I got to see some friends, bought a couple of items, and just had a real good day.

  22. Your quite lucky you didn't end upside down in the median.."Thank God"...I stayed in KY for just that reason...had my Tahoe(2WD only) loaded to the ceiling with parts and a 16 ft car hauler with a 70 SS Nova full of parts to...It snowed all night last night her in KY when I was gonna leave, so I just stayed home..Kinda bummed I missed the swapmeet(Damn I need a dropped drilled super bell, hairpins, discs/rotors and spindels), but glad I didn't end up in the ditch either...Oh well..now I get to unload all back into the garage..lol! Ugggg! Evilbay here I come...
