Model 59 Ford carburetor?

I have an OL 396 Edelbrock Olds 303/324 intake that came with three Ford Model 59 carbs. I'd like to run this intake on a mildly built 324. Would these carbs work well? The carbs also have a 15/16 on each. Any information on these carbs as to their merits or not would be appreciated.

 

This is OEM on '46-8 Fords and became the standard replacement carb for all earlier V-8's. Good carb.
