    Nice upgrade.
Maybe you won't need the recessed firewall now?
More room the better in those little cabs right?

Yeah, I am going to cut it back out again and mount it with a slight lip around it. Just so it looks similar to what a 32 cab would have.

I wish it was that easy. I removed the edge of the firewall and set it back in the cab. So I will have to take it back out and add to the perimeter of the firewall. This was not just a flipped firewall. But I will get it done by this weekend coming up. :D

Oh yeah that Coupe of yours is Sweet !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How do you go about balancing a set of Coker tires mounted on WIDE FIVES?

I put the wide five centers in a 7" rim so I could run cheater slicks on my 30 pickup.

Well I was able to get in the garage long enough to move things around and why I was doing that I thought it would be a good time to roll the truck out and take a few quick pics . Anyway two of my boys wanted in on the action and this is how it looks so far and I tought I would show a pic of the 283 that will be going in this one. :D

As far as balancing these wheels I am wondering how did they balance the VW wheels that were wide five? I am thinking a bubble balance method.

How are you going to adapt the 283 SBC to the 39 Ford toploader*******? Find an old adapter on egay, I suppose? I'm not aware that these adapters are being made today.

I have two adapters one is an Offy and the other is a Cragar. and the you just get a pilot bushing from a place like speedwaymotors and the correct Fly wheel, clutch and pressure plate and a starter that bolts in to the adapter. This stuff is still avaliable as far as I know.
