Very nice! Another masterpiece in the making

  2. So the story continues... My pal Raphael just finished his aluminum bench seat which turned out to be something like a bomber bench. He didn't want two single bomber seats, but something different, while still being airplane inspired.

This is what he came up with

As usual he started from scratch with just his imagination leading the path

This is what happens when an airplane mechanic builds a hot rod seat

He's also about to finish the rear section of the roof with the rear window from the 4dr sedan welded in.

The workmanship is fantastic. The original, aircraft inspired parts work great, together with the rest of the car. Have to see this one finished. Pass on my compliments next time you see your pal.
Hope he's upholstering the seat, His butt will be awfully cold, and freeze to the seat in the winter.

X2...the grille isn't doing it for me.

And thank you for putting a visor on it...Model A's look weird without one.

Raphael definitely has incredible talent and exceptional attention to detail.

Your photographs are also spot on, especially the lighting and framing on the close ups.

Thanks for keeping the updates coming.

Ditto!! But, I am loving the rest of the car. Good choice with the visor too.

Can't wait to see the finished product.
As previously stated, most people make a roadster out of a sport coupe, but, to build a car like this takes real courage. Best of luck on your unique build.

I think our builder has his vision, and my two cents may not be helpful, but they do make a fiberglass A 3 window, if he was looking for something to compare the dimensions and look to.
