Though this is probably the gl*** body you showed later, I must admit that I really like the lines of this coupe . . . really nice. If one could replicate something similar in steel, I wouldn't kick it out of bed! I like the rounded upper window frame/openings (rear). Keep us posted!
You have got to be kidding! WOW at first and then because its fibergl*** its not so cool? I made the first one twenty years ago the old fashioned (TRADITIONAL) way out of a steel body with a hammer and dolly and hardly any money.I was out of a job at the time.I still have the origional steel body and will never build a car with it.I also have a (TRADITIONAL)fibergl*** Bantam altered race car body from the 60s.We used to make molds and bodies back then also.Any steel car is protected from destruction by a very thin coat of (PLASTIC)! called paint. It only makes sense to make a better body out of material that does not rust or dent so easily.Even Detroit makes their one off high end ,low production performance hoods and parts out of fibergl*** . They make high production cars from sheetmetal because they can do it so cheap.Have you ever seen the stacks of stamped parts made in a day ? You can only make one part by hand per day out of a mold in fibergl***.And you have to make them by hand. There is nothing wrong with an origional 70 or 80 year old car.I have them and I also have fibergl*** ones.I love them both.I just get sick and tired of the misinformed comments from the few that dont realize that fibergl*** is traditional too.
