School bus seats work real well, the mounts can be cut down real easy. A lot of the fellas also use late model mini van seats too. I got a really slick Stude seat that would work well I was going to use it for a back seat in my sedan until I decided that the back seat was not an option in this build.
Mazda MPV middle seat. Back flips forward and tilts back. Comes with track adjuster although I discarded it and replaced with track off Ford car for finer adjustments and longer travel. Fits nice. Canuck
Some SUV third row seats have similar dimensions with modern seatbelts attached as they are often designed for easy removal
If you noticed in the pictures of my cars, once the seat's in, the interior IS finished!! ( I don't need no stinkin' upholstery- just a place to park my **** and GO!!) Good luck with your car. Mike
My 30-31 Model A Roadster has a seat from a Chevy S-10. The 2/3rds section from the front seat. Fits nicely and is comfortable, plus the back folds. (o{}o)
So are the dodge caravan seats on sliders? I used a japanese van middle seat, but no sliders, so have permanently fixed it for now. Mexican blanket for initial upholstry.
They have a fixed mount; we trim them off, make a flat bar mount at the right angle, and use the universal sliders that Speedway sells.
they dont have tracks..you can put tracks on them, but I just made a wood perch for mine and bolted straight to the floor..it can easily be moved if need be
Hey Mike , what year caravan? Hey when I saw that you used the word Pisser, without looking at your avatar, I knew you were a M***. boy, lol...right on brother!
This is my caravan seat in my 29 roadster. $25 at salvage yard! Sent from my SM-J337P using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
