model a body line

30 coupe,i got the shim method for aligning the rear of the door to the body line but the body linde at the cowl and door dont line up,1/8 off,cowl up and door down,they move together?any help,i am sick of model a door and deck lid fitting

 

on a model A not all the door adjustments can be done by shimming..sometimes you have to bend something..like hinges

any pictures?

 

yea im with you on being sick of aligning stuff. it gets old quick. hey when are we going to see some pics of this coupe?

 

Had to bend the top and bottom hinges on my '30 coupes driver side door to make every thing line up.

 

Can't bend them up...I smell smoke,i need to get a new camra,hows yours coming along
