Ok here is a few more pics of some smaller things i have been working on while saving money. The first two are of the wheel wells i decided to patch them instead of buying new perfect ones. The next one is after all the wood is finally in cant decide if i should keep top rails or not any thoughts? And finally the last picture is of the gauge i am using in my dash i will only run this one gauge on the inside. Possibly will mount oil pressure on engine. So once again thanks for looking and also WHO ALL IS GOING TO THE HUNNERT CAR PILEUP THIS SAT seriously this day is better than christmas or my birthday one of my fav shows ever!

For a first time build, I think you're doing exceptionally well. Although I suspect Dad is a very good teacher.

Very cool build. I will be starting my first scratch build soon also.

Almost have all the parts to start a roller.

Keep up on the progress as it looks like you are doing just fine.

def he has been doing since i was before i was born. I have been going to car shows my whole life so its only natural that i would get into it. He is more into the street rod style of cars though so we clash at times but in the end i appreciate all that he has shown me and helped me fix my **** ups along the way. Also i cant say this enough thanks for all the positive feedback it is really uplifting and this site is a blessing to the real hot rod scene!

Thanks man it would be nice to meet you i learn something from everyone i meet cause i by no means know it all. This is what i want to do for a living so a lot is riding on my car to be like my calling card so i hope in the end i can have a wild ride to stand out in the crowd. And i hope i can get those tires spinning with that straight 6 haha.

Well im on here again sorry i dont have mush to take pictures of yet i am hurting for money at the moment, BUT there is a shining light now my dad said i need to get it done cause we are driving it to las vegas next year for the viva show. WORDS CANT SAY HOW STOKED I AM FOR THIS! I will be driving a car that i built across country it just blows my mind. So to say the least i am more determined than ever. I still have my goal for the pile up next year for completion i hope i make it well before that buy yeah. Also changed my mind on some things the four speed is out and automatic is in we have a 350 laying around and i have a new genie shifter dying to be used so i decided on that. Saves money and time for me. So yeah i will try to get some more done soon to get up for you guys. I would love to hear from anyone who wants to talk or anything really i am like a sponge i will soak up knowledge from anyone who has it. Thanks for reading my boring story haha.

You're getting lots of positive feedback and you should feel pretty darn good about it. The information and photos you have posted show that you are heading in the right direction. Keep going. Opinion.....I am 6'2" and 220 lbs. I am not channeling my 28 coupe. The driveshaft (torquetube) would be too high and cause the seats to seem "squeezed". Maybe won't need a seat belt? (smiling) Although, I do have a five inch chop. But the back of the seat will be moved rearward for comfort. Keep building and keep smiling!!

Wow it seems like forever since I have updated this I have made a little progress since last time I posted. I have a roller! I will add some pics of the frame done and the car on the frame. I also switched motors from the 6 to a v8 for room concerns. Still hoping to get this car done by the end of summer for sure by the Pile up. well idk I am trying to remember what all we have done since last time I will post more when I remember. I have a full skeleton of a floor and seat also no pics of that yet. But ya thanks again for all the kind words no one wants this car done more than me I work all day and come home and work on this. Its def my main priority at the moment.

Oh and the car will be higher than in the pictures I ordered my wheels from Rally America a few days ago so waiting for them to get here i have some trailor wheels and old wires on there for now to roll it around. The tires will raise it up some inches and we are going to redo the rear spring set up a bit also. Thanks again guys!
