Thanks for the kind words. Its a '28 with a 32 shell. Waiting on an insurance binder and I will try to get a few miles on it. Hoping to attend Billetproof in chehalis in 2 weeks. Should be a good test, it's around 75 miles each way......then onto Reno in August I hope.

HA!! That's great!! Nice little sedan and it sounds beefy as hell!! That is a very motivating time of a build, that's for sure!! I can tell that you had a little spring in your step when you got out and "saluted" that camera!! EXCELLENT and CONGRATS!!!!!

Nice! but check your fan belt, looks like it is slipping or something in your video the fan slows down and stops at one point.

Fan belt is tight. I am pretty sure it is a frames per second phenom that you are seeing. Video is from my phone. The burn out is definitely in the future (lots of them, that's what it is for right?) just want a shake down run first. I just have this weird way about me that makes me check, re-check and then double check all I have done. I still have wires hanging out of the headlights that I haven't cleaned up. My shop is going to have a permanent tattoo of two black stripes through it as soon as I feel confident I am not going to plant it into the wall when it gets out of control...... When on youtube check out the other few build vids. I have built this thing myself, thats why I am so cautious/ never built one like this before, Its been three years and my memory is not the best as far as what I have done. I have a dry erase board that is used just for that reason......still a couple of things to deal with.

The car is a really nice build, and seeing it up close yesterday was a real treat! So much attention to detail, and I'm sure it will be reliable and fun! Nice meeting you and talking cars last night!-Vall

Thanks! I ran the car down for a dyno tune the other day and wow what a difference! Ended up I had almost no intitial advance with the springs I had in the distributor and it was running a little rich so went to another set of metering rods in the carb. Its only putting out 300hp but it makes for smile making burn outs now for sure. No more pushing the front tires now as I can really turn up the rpm's quick. I am going to have to watch out though as I am having so much fun smokin the tires it's all I want to do when I get in that thing and am sure the local patrol man and neighbors are thinking it isnt so cool.....
