That is awesome! Wish I could find something like that, it's next to impossible to find a parts in va... I've been trying and all I have been able to come up with is a couple of frames
This is a gulch find, not a barn find. Whole 'nuther method to washing. On the serious side, nice find.
I didn't get to dig on it today. My dad and I went to an auction today in Alden, KS. The gas tank looks to be rotted out on one side and the deck lid is there but it is rough. We should be going back Monday to finish the job. I'll take some more pics then. I won't be using a paddle boat duck to be pulling it out but my idea is just as crazy. I plan on putting it on a junk car hood and pulling it up the ditch with the truck. Oh and the other car looks like it is a late 30s Chevy. Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
Here are some pics of the rusty gold we brought home from the auction. Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
Looks like you have almost enough goodies to put that coupe back on the road - I'll be watching this one!
Damn! Because of this thread, the first thing I thought of when I woke up this morning was a model A roadster that I found over 30 years ago buried up to the top of the doors at the edge of a sandy dry river bed. Now it's haunting me. Hmm...I wonder if it's still there or if I could even find it again.
WOW! like someone else said, it dosn't look all that bad! we'll see when it is out and on level ground. good luck
While up in the woods camping last summer I found most of a teens or twenties touring car buried. This thread makes me want to go and dig it up! Subscribed!
I predict this thread will be the cause of a rash of mysterious holes appearing all over North America.
