Level with cowl is the way to go. then when you run a hood the slope doesnt look so goofy.

  3. Taller than the cowl looks like ****, doesnt flow. Too low and it gets odd like Milners coupe.

Level or slightly lower or at least so the eye "thinks" its lower.

I would not mess with **** until you get the proper sized rollers or the tires you plan on running to get ride height dialed in.

What looks best and most resembles the car's original lines is to have the top of the grill shell line up with a line down the slope of the cowl.

Level to just a tiny bit lower, follow the natural lines of the car, please do not go higher.

  10. Live Wire and the black coupe WOULD look better with a lower shell. Camera angle do make em look better or worse.......both car are nice regarless.

Level or slightly lower! Do not mount it higher, car will look like it is going up hill otherwise.

I think the chop has some to do with the profile from front to back. Chopped should deifinately be level or lower. Non chopped could maybe get away with a little up, but I would definately recommend at least level. I went level without a chop. The only thing to watch for is if you are gonna run radiator supports they will run uphill unless modified.

personally I think it looks like **** when its higher. I like it to sit so that if you put a hood on it everything would fit right. Just like some others have said, level or slightly lower.

When you mock it up, use masking tape from the cowl to the grill shell and step back and look at the lines. It should have a slight natural slope towards the grill shell.

I dropped the stock grill shell 3/4", if you keep it stock height it can look like it's running up hill from some angles. Just my $ .02 worth
