Damm! you STOLE the new coupe , well done . It looks like a neat old survivor , please don't Chop the living daylights out of it. Juice brakes , 16" big n littles , dropped I beam and some vintage speed parts on the banger would be my plan. But hey it is YOUR car and not mine .
First thing. With craigslist and other sites who effing scraps something like a model a coupe? Second, your coupe is an incredible find! Great job!!
Wow, sweet. Apparently there are still a few souls out there who have never heard of Craigslist. Or someone's ex-wife took it from his front yard...
imagine if your hobby were real estate... Start a build thread for that new coupe; I wanna see all the unobtanium speed parts you find at the dump.
yeah , the guy hauling it to scrap yard probably stole it or was renting the place it was at and got mad at his land lord , many years ago I stopped to check on a 55 crown Vicky I saw sitting behind an old small house , car was rough , no running gear or hood , young man answered door and wanted $50.00 for it and started complaining about land lord ...I REALLY WANTED that car but I thanked him for his time and left .
I have been trying to afford one for 40 years. Good deal glad for you. I do believe it. I have seen it many times but I have never been in the right place YET.
I was about two hours late one day when a "SCRAPPER" had just finished burning to get the paint off it 8 32 ford front fenders 3 hoods 4 grille shells with inserts 4 closed car dashes & a whole bunch of running boards I did get a couple of front fenders which I later used for patching fenders for my then 5 window project & at that time scrap value was about 45 bucks
