Hello, I’m selling my “Model A Coupe” project. It consist of a 1932 style frame pinched and built by Gary at Blackboard Hotrods. The engine is a 55 Desoto Hemi – 291 w/ a four barrel carburetor, it’s all stock. The only thing that was wrong with the engine was that the distributor had a short in it and I replaced it with a different one. It started right up with one pump of the carburetor and doesn't smoke or knock. The lifters are pecking a little, but should quiet down as it runs some more, there is virtually no sludge build-up under the rocker covers. It hasn't ran since June 2008 but it turns freely. The transmission is a Ford T5 and mates with the engine via a Wilcap adapter w/ flywheel. The crank needs to be tapped to install the flywheel. The front axle and split wishbones w/ bungs installed are from a 1934 car. They are being held up by a new Poise front spring, 37-41 round back spindles, 1940 Ford Front Brakes (backing plate and drum), new kingpins, and a 1942 16” Ford wheels. The rear-end is from an S10, ladder bars, SO-CAL Speed Shop Rear Spring and 2 new wheels from Wheel Vintiques (Steel, Gray Primer, 16 in.x 4.5 in., 5 x 4.5/4.75 in. Bolt Circle, 2.75 in. Backspace). The 30-31 Model A coupe comes with doors but it’s missing the decklid. The previous owner chopped the top 5” and that’s how I bought it (top just being placed on the body, not welded). The body does need work but nothing too major, it does have rust, dents and a few holes. I just recently purchased a package tray in great condition. Unfortunately, I don't have a title and would rather the cash so I'm not interested in trades. Please PM with any questions.
Bump w/ price change, $1,200 for the body only and $6,300 for the rest (frame, engine, trans, rearend, etc).
