Height of front fenders from ground/floor, height of cowl from floor, distance from front frame horn to cowl and finally the measurement from front of cowl to windshield. I need to haul a 29 cpe and a 48 cpe plus a complete roadster pu minus frame. I have built a rack system on my trailer and will haul the T that way, But I know it's not high enough to clear the A fenders so I need to know what height I need to raise it to so that the front of the A can be under the rack. I have to do it that way to haul both coupes. Here's a picture which I had in the original post showing the rack. This is the double I also have a single which is what I use for this haul. The A cpe is over a 1K miles away and under over 3 ft of snow is why I can get the needed measurements from it.
Why don't you just measure the height of what you're going to load. Some Model A's have 21" wheels and some had 19". Buy these tires and wheels and you will drop them down quite a bit. Caution, don't drive through LA or you might start a new trend. https://www.etrailer.com/question-498054.html You could use them without tires if you need more room. Not like your going to drive it around.
Some of the info you want might be on here: Not on here: front tip of frame horn to axle centreline = 10½".
Dude, you don't need to be a **** when people are trying to help you! I don't know what your original post said, but if you didn't get the info you needed from the H.A.M.B. (the single most inclusive and informative repository of automotive knowledge on the whole of the internet, packed with everybody that is anybody in this hobby), then you were too vague in the way you asked the question. So what if you've been here for 20+ years? Doesn't give you the right to be an ***hole. Dig deep, get that stick out of your *** and don't let the door hit you on the way out.
I was very specific on exactly what I needed and why. What was offered wasn't even close to what I asked for. As far as being a **** the guy that message was for was being a clown by thinking he had to remind me this was a hot rod board. If you don't care for what I say don't read it and put me on your ignore list OK I reposted the question and it's as specific as the original.
I did not think I had to look @ OPs join date profile since I was not directly doing Business with, Im also one that has on had working with As that I fell the information that OP was asking for was there in web search except for one measurement, In looking over drawling the answer is there, also accessing the Ford Archives
