can someone please post a pic of what a '28-'29 model A door handle should look like, for a tudor sedan.
also, what size is the square shaft, and does anyone have the distance between the 2 mounting holes?

im 200 miles away from my project at the moment (just moved house) but am trying to collect together some of the parts i need to finish it up once i bring it here.

    Cheers

  2. My camera software is screwed up so can't post a pic but my '28 handle shaft is 11/16" or 9mm. The distance between the holes are 1 1/2".

    ok heres pics

measurment from mounting hole to mounting hole is 1 & 1/4"

    square shaft measurement is 0.315"
    measured with dial calipers

    how this helps

are these definately the right ones?
the handle part itself appears to be the same 28-31, but the baseplate is flat on 28-29 and curved on 30-31.

the prices are good, id consider buying new, but theyre gunna stick out like a sore thumb on my rough primered body, so id prefer s/h, unless theres an easy way to 'age' the chrome?

    Cheers

yes model a tudor handles for the 28-29 is flat based
    30-31 is curved
like you said i fairly positive that the handle itself is the same it is just the base that different

and yes for sure flat base on 28-29 cause the one in the picture is for my 28-29 passenger door that i have never gotten around to putting on

oh yeah and you can buy two locking door handles from macs
i know it says locking is for one side and non locking for the other but all you gotta do is spin the base around so the handle points in right direction
got two locking handles on my 31 a pickup

hey man run new ones at least that way you wont have to worry about an old sagging handle that may pop open on you while ur flying down the road
