Hi, I'm new here. I have been a road racer for 24 years, but I've stopped due to some health issues. Now I have a '31 model A coupe that I want to chop 3" and maybe channel an inch and a half or so. I raced Italian and German cars for 24 years, and no nothing about model A's. I built cars for Chrysler for 32 years, and after all the race car wrenching there isn't much that scares me. Which brings me to my problem. Whoever had this Ford shell before butchered the bolt holes for the hinges when they took it apart. They're mangled and some are oversized now. Anybody know a way to fix them short of replacing the A pillar posts? Any help would be appreciated.
