Technical Model A Door Hinges

    Are door hinge locations the same on all closed bodies, or different for coupe/sedan/truck?

    1928 1929 - coupe, 2 door sedan and sedan delivery's are the same

    1930 -1931 -2 door sedan , sedan delivery and pick up / truck cabs are the same

    1930-1931 - coupes are different, top hinge is about a 1" different

    kb cookout, thank you sir…does that mean’28/‘29 closed cab truck upper hinge location is different from ‘28/‘29 coupe/sedan upper hinge location?

    Yes and a different style of hinge on 28=

    I'll post some pics in the morning I have a 28-29 truck and coupe/ sedan doors here

    also 1930 -31 coupe and 1930-31 panel delivery have the same hinge spacing

    The pickup cowl band and doors on 28-29 is different than passenger cars. Won’t interchange even if you switch hinges.
