I just bought this on E-Gay (item # 370124295437). Now I need a HAMB relay from Sioux City, IA to Keller, TX.
if i had the cash I would have snapped that up as its only 6 hours from home. not as far as you got.. nice grab man. will make a sweet Rod. and why call it Egay if you go on there and buy stuff... kind of an oximoron if i say so.
Leave the frame under it, paint it red, and call it a Radio Flyer! Put a rope on the front and pull it home.
"and why call it Egay if you go on there and buy stuff..." When you're lookin' , you have to turn over all the rocks.
"Nice score, built late 31, that firewall is sought after. Whats the plan? " <!-- / message --><!-- sig -->__________________ I have a 1931 coupe currently set up to drive. With a 4.3L V6, 700R4, Ford 8 inch rear end (thank you dirty31). The Montiac is building a '32 style chassis for me. I plan to pull the body off this runner to put on the new chassis. I hate to have a nice drive-train go unused, so I am going to bolt on this sedan body and enjoy it until the coupe is done.
Dan, The Keller Model A club is adding a Sedan.... I love it! I have a truck and access to a flatbed and closed trailer... But the gas and time would kill yor build budget. (mabey) Let me know if you want help with the chop... Jay
Hell yea man, i remember when i bought mine, and got it home it looked alot like your's. I couldnt wait to drive it, so i just sit in it till my wife told me that i should be running out of gas soon and when i did ,to come in the house and eat before i fill it up agian !!!! Enjoy it and congrats....
Nice looking rust pile you picked up. It looks like a 745 mile one way run that is almost all good highway to go after it. That should be somewhat easy to do on a weekend if you have a couple of guys driving.
That would be an easy road trip. I traveled 670 miles to get my '57, near Texarkana, took my then 11 year old son with me. We got there late, slept in the truck for a couple hours ('74 F100 with open trailer, lol), then got up, loaded up and headed back home. Anear 1400 hour turn around, lots of fun. Good score....
