Hello everyone . Pulled a pair of 28/29 Model A front fenders out to weld up the cracks and sale . Noticed the one is different then the other . They are different where the front of the splash apron connects to the fender . The fender opening goes straight across on the one and it steps down on the other one .Never saw one step down before and it don't look like it is bent . Is my eyes playing tricks on me , or was there 2 different fenders ?

One is an early '28 the other is a late 28 that is the same as a 1929. I think they were changed because of tire contact on hard turns. Bob

True the early one is from an AR model A here in NZ it is not unusal to find them mixed up from the factory assembly.
