After over hearing a conversation at a swap meet I asked the guy to come out to his place and see the A frames he had for sell. Needed a frame for a customer who days earlier I hooked up with a 28-29 Tudor...So I'm out and about and there is the A he says he wants $150 bucks so I told the customer for a finders fee just by this for me. He said OK I did the happy dance then procided to pict up the trunk lid ( for a rumbel seat ) out of a pile of leaves and asked what do you want for this he said $20 buck so that what I have total invested in the right now.

    Picts reall soon

Similiar story with my dad in Kentucky. There was a guy on Epay that was selling a mess load of Flatheads and parts and he listed his phone number. So I called and chatted with him for a while and sent my dad to go look at the stuff. It all sold to some other guy, but he had a Model A decklid sitting in the barn and my dad asked about it. "Oh that, sure it is forsale," so my dad asked how much. "Twenty bucks," so my dad bought it and called me right after he left. I saw it a couple of weeks back and it is complete with the rumble seat hinges and all.

  26. Cool deal... that's about 1/4 tank of gas. :D

Maybe sell the deck lid on Ebay and do something like the Purple People Eater...
    You'll be money ahead...

Probably how the PPE started it's life...

Frame? customer? $150 finder's fee? $20 Rumble seat lid?

    Then pictures of a body?

    Who got what for $20?

    This is very confusing.... :(

  28. :D

OUTLAW's customer bought him the body as a finder's fee...
OUTLAW, himself, bought the decklid for $20...

So he has $20 invested in both...

    :D
