I see most afetrmarket shackles do not have grease fittings. I did find a set available through one of the resto supply places that sell shackles with grease fittings. Is there any reason NOT to use the ones with grease fittings? Im using an original axle dropped by Joes Speed Shop and a Posies Superslide spring.

I got some from Tardel with grease fittings, the bushing were to small for the posie spring.Pretty easy solution, get some bushings oversized on the outer dia.

we use them on semis on the front axles so I wouldn't see why on a car it would hurt . on the trucks you can tell when they go dry as the ride gets rougher
