model A frontend , what gives ?

thanks this is good to know because i was leaning towards some split bones that i have from a 47 . right now i am using the radius rod brackets for hairpins .

man i bet yours is low . the crossmember being straight across has got to be good for what 2 1/2 " - 3 inches ?
