I'm in the process of mocking up the grill shell position, and
I don't have all the original parts to compare to. If some one
can give me the measurement from the top of the frame to the
lip the hood sits on (as shown in the pics) I would appreciate it.
I plan on full hood, can't get it outside to get a good eyeball
on it right now. It's for a 30-31.

    Thank's, Rich

Got the shell and radiator off my car right now. Are you needing the height of the shell (at top of hood) to the frame? Hard to tell from the pics what you're looking for.

I've been told that the outline of a '30-'31 shell is dimensionally identical to that of a Deuce shell. I drew up the latter in CAD (PM me if you'd like the .dwg file). The original is hanging on the wall above me.

Unless I'm mistaken the dimension you're looking for is near enough 26¾".

racer32, yes I'm looking for the height of the lip at the top
of the grill shell from the top of the frame . I don't want the
dreaded uphill look of the grill shell, and hood.

Ned, no I have both a 31, and 32 shell here.

    Thank's guy's, Rich
