Ok, so my original rain gutters for my 28 sedan have seen better days, so I bought a set of repros from Snyders, they will probably be fine, but am considering another option. I have seen some trim peices, that really arent gutters, but more like the trim pieces in the front and back of the vinyl when you install the roof. It basically covers the tack holes and has a metal peice at the end to finish it off, its either fabric, plastic or some some sort of composite. I am not sure what the material is or where to get them, but I am looking for a plan b if I am not happy with what I have. Anyone know what I am talking about or where to get them. Les
I replaced all mine on my 29 Sedan with flat strap all welded in to the original belt line behind the quarter windows. But I have a steel roof.
Here is what I did with my model Tudor years ago. It is actually an aluminum strip bolted with hidden threaded shafts to the inside. Not perfect but worked OK, made a little Vee on top to kinder give it a gutter effect. The intention was to match the existing belt line.
anyone use "Hide'em" Welting, guess it is the product I am talking about...love to see some pics. Les
