I was told that all im missing is the "Crown Molding" (metal part) and the front wood header..sound right? when you put on the windshield visor, what does it screw to? (attach to what).
The visor attaches across the top to the wood header with nails - there is a flange, and on the sides to the face of the A-pillar, with screws I think. The "crown-mold" is a perfect description of the other thing you are missing. It angles up from the windshield frame to the visor. You can buy these new from Snyder's if you need one.
thanks alot guys...60'shotrod..those pictures did help.. glad to know im only missing those 2 parts. (well at least for this part of the car that is) It just looks different with that steel part missing and the wood gone in that area it was hard to tell for sure.
HA!...wanna trade JK..seems the Visor (new with holes punched in it) is about the same price as this crown molding..guess i need to pony up 140 bucks for the molding and 50 or 60 bucks for the wood that goes in behind it..I need some new roof ribs too so guess I better get craking
