  3. I use the one that attaches to the radiator rods and folds open to hold each hood side.

    Scoop

    Here’s the scoop on mine.

    I wanted something no one else had, so I fashioned these out of some left over shop materials. Minimalistic but they work fine.

    Made a trunk mounted bracket to hold the rods.

    Very nice work, Jeff. But I have full hood,I guess I should've mentioned that.

    This might be more of what you are looking for ? My Dad's 31 Roadster, he was always the innovator , more upgrades to his Model A's than any I've ever seen . These popups have a soft spring that comes up when the hood is lifted . D Mc

  12. There just round stock swedged on on end. I flipped them side to side from the last photos to show the best opening you would get using the existing gas tank mounting holes.
