I'm starting a new build. Stock model a and putting in 8ba v8.
    1. Do I put motor mounts level with frame top?
2 vega box with cross steer or f1 box with original steering.??
Ill have custom steering column to fit whatever.
    3. Retaining stock front axel and adding juice brakes.
Any suggestions on any of the above

I have an F1 going in a '30 sedan with flathead V8 and I used a '53-'55 F100 in my '32 Sedan with 8ba. Gotta cut the mounting flange off both and make or buy the new flange to fit the frame right.

My Avatar '29 AV8 Sedan has a '40 front axle and steering box and column with cross steer.

I heard Randy Gross is in the process of producing a new F1 box for Model As. Even his rebuilds use a 1 piece steering shaft where most are welded. No custom column needed.
