Looks great Paul and the V-belt driven 471 and ribbed tires give it a really cool mid to late 50's look.
of course you know the pictures are thumbnails, if you click on them they get bigger and if you are refering to the white coopy looking thing floating above the A it's a tupperware Topolino shell I hope to be working on it soon. should look a little like this when done...
as always a Texas tip of the hat to you. Very nice work Gonna have stance that makes me miss my old Coupe
yep.....that's it..... I REALLY like the stance....... Now see, you've dun gone and made me want to build a coupe instead of a truck next time....oh, decisions, decisions...
yes, yes, aware of that, but not looking at the topolino, know that one. I was asking about what the topolino is sitting on top of??
that is my patient freind, a 1935 Dodge 4 door slant back my first car, given to me at age sixteen by my father thirty two years ago, it was the family car when I was little. it went into storage for a while, then on my 16th birthday, Dad said I could have it if I got it running. that's all I did. got it running, then it was pushed aside and hauled from place to place all these years. maybe before I die it will see the road again... who knows?
Channeled but not chopped. East meets west. Love the look, doesn't look like you'll have to do much work to that body. That alone will save you about a year of build time. I've never been that lucky. *******! Very cool.
Nicework, Been following along since the frame tech. 60's style does nice work and makes some great tech posts. Thanks for the contributions.
Your work is kick*** without a doubt, but its your shop Security System that really blows my mind! :O Thats a real T 2000 Android right!?!? Hahahaha Or maybe it WASN'T Michael Jackson who stole the Academy Award statue!!! Hmmmm......!
nope. been too preoccupied with the whole xmas thing I am going to get to it soon.. it will also be basic and simple made of store bought, home made and a little bit of stock like a hot rod
I bought that Model A rear cross member from a guy that advertised a '32 rear cross member he is semi retired building hot rods in his shop for steady customers man what a cool pile of stuff he had, for starters all his stash of motors were Oldsmobiles and Buicks with stick setups, I counted six early Olds setups and almost that many Nailheads none of them were for sale, and I didn't beg, but I sure drooled! I did pick up a few wishbones an axle and a couple cross members though.. may have to visit him again one day
