I know where one is in utah, original, sat outside in a dry climate for years, ran when parked. PM if you want the guys #. I doubt that it will be cheap.

I own a '31 2 door deluxe phaeton that's been in my family since the early 60's. It's getting cold here in Michigan ,and I'm somewhat handicapped, but I'll go out to my storage building and get you a couple of shots of it so you can see where to cut a 2 door sedan to somewhat resemble it. You need to start off with a roadster cowl.2 door deluxe phaeton doors are also longer..Mike

    Buy my 30' 2-Door I have for sale. :D

You'll have to cut the roof off, but it will be a hell of a lot cheaper than buying a real phaeton.

My dad has had a 4 door Phaeton since before I was born. I always thought the 4 door was the coolest, until dad's friend bought a 2 door phaeton out of Australia. The rake on the wind shield, the low roof line. If I remember correctly, the cowl sweeps around into the doors? I've probably only seen 2 in my life. If you get a chance, I would love to see some pics.

  8. Check out the Overhaulin' Model A build. That car was a tudor with the top cut off it before they got to it, they had to do a bunch of work to the body to make it right though - it might be of some help.

Rod & Custom I think showed going ******* on a tudor a while back, too, but I don't remember how long ago - just that it was the current version, not the old ones from the 60s. One of the last couple shows putting the DuVall type split windshield on one, too, may give some clues to doing the same on a closed car cowl.

Can you take the sedan cowl (windshielf post )/ front of the car off and put a roadster equivalent on to get a nice windshield post area. I know they make about ever known sheet metal piece for a roadster..

Its the rolled body top that will take some work to make it look right.
