I hate to start a thread for a simple single question, but can some body measure the tail of their stock length "A" pickup bed for me? From the axle centerline to the tail gate is what I need.

I have a "T" bed on my "A" roadster pickup and I'm getting ready to shorten the bed a bit, but would like to know what the stock "A" measurement is.
    Thanks, Chip Quinn

From the axle centerline to the end of the bed sheet metal it is 32-1/2". The tailgate is 7/8" thick, not including the lip, which is past the end of the bed sided. The tailgate is sets inside the bed dimension, except for the lip.
