    is the cowl on a two door the same as a four door on a 30 31 model a?

    Actually, both Briggs and Murray made some '30-'31 four door cars that some call "slant window". Easiest way to tell them is the fact that the windshield has a slight slope backwards, and there is no visor over the windshield. A couple other '30-'31 bodies had this same feature, notably some of the cabriolets, and the Victoria. As long as you are dealing with a visor windshield car, the coupe, tudor, and the other fordor cowls will interchange. If memory severs, the pickup cowl as well.
