Ive looked through several threads and there are many choices it looks like. Many running the early mustang ones. My question is how are some of you getting yours so low? Ive seen some talk about tractor radiators and such but those can be quite expensive for what they are. Has anyone run a honda civic radiator before? such as this?

I could take it to a rad shop and have them move the lower bung to the left side? Im running the stock banger and looking to get the grill low.

What engine are you running? SBF's don't run as hot so a smaller rad might suffice. I mounted my mid 60'S mustang rad just in front of the front crossmember (sorry no pic). The lower ports are between the spring and axle. Doing that means I'll have to run an electric fan though.

Im running the stock model a 4 banger. Not sure how much cooling it will really need. I may just go with the mustang rad but for $65 new and delivered to have the smaller aluminum rad its hard not to go that route as long as it can cool the motor.

Maybe search how hot the banger gets. The stock rads are fairly large so that might be for a reason. You also have to think how it will look inside the shell. The Mustang rad fills out a Model A or '32 shell fairly decent.
