Has any one used one of the after market two piece aluminum roof gutters? Does any one have any good pictures of what they look like? I'm trying to fit something on my 1930 Essex sedan. Any ideas?

They are good, just not easy to bend and keep them together, or are they easy to put back together when taken apart. They use a wax paper method to make them slip some, overalll good, not perfect. IMO

I don't know about your Essex, but I know Luke down at Austin Speed Shop makes the best reproduction A gutters I've seen.

I made a template then buck and made my own. I used half in sq tubing bent to the contour of my template. I then drilled holes every half inch the length of the rain gutter. I welded them in and blended with body work.

^^^ here is a side view. Sorry nothing close up. I tried 2 piece aluminum with a piece of wax paper between the pieces. I heated slowly but when they were bent around the buck the would twist instead of bend.

Those aluminum pieces came with my coupe when I bought it and I couldn't figure out a good way to bend and attach them. I also started to take square tubing and make my own but found some conduit that worked perfect. The edges have a bead on them so it makes a good v to tack with on the inside against the body and the bead on the outside will not chip paint like a sharp edge would. Heat it some (I just used Mapp gas) and it will bend pretty good without kinking. I capped mine off on the the front but you could leave it open.
