    I'm not sure of the part number on the standard rotation but you do have to shange the timing cover to a older style. Also have to use a elec fuel pump as for the alt mount , find a early Bronco smog pump 66-77 and use it.. it will mount it real low in the ch***ie /motor. I haven't found a stock pully set-up that fits but still looking... Tjm73 did you ever try the standard one water pump kit? I have alway bought the parts as needed and didn't know of a "kit"

    :confused: If you change the short timing cover out to the older style and use a different water pump, you no longer have the short front cover setup. 302's have 3 settings. The standard depth from '62-'93. The slightly shorter Thunderbild/Cougar setup from '90ish-'95 when you could get the 302 in the T-bird's and Cougars. And lastly the shortest setup from the 302 V8 Explorers.
     
  5. Ya know I wanna build my first rat dragster. Probably some sort of a twin engine thing but I want it to have some rust in the ch***is and maybe a missing tube or two from the roll cage.

    Does it really need a fuel tank and does anyone know where i can get some used nitro cheap?????

    I see nothing has changed. You need to stand and click your heals three times and say "Rat Rod - Rat Rod - Rat Rod" and you'll be back home little girl.
