Hello, I Just got a 30 Model A sedan that was converted to Juice Brakes back in the day. Looks like the fella that did it, might not have done it correctly on the rear. Looks like he ground down the spring perches so they clear the backing plates just fine. The only real question I have is there some kind of spacer to move the drum farther away from the backing plate for clearance? Looks like some people take off a little bit of the drum in order to get the clearance, otherwise it would seem that some one might make a spacer for the rear to resolve this issue. Is the speedway kit only for the front? Or the MTProducts? Any help would be greatly appreciated. BTW, I did check out the tech post about taking off some of the drum but it's just out of my tool realm. Thanks again...

You can use shims betweern the axel & drum. It depends how hard your going to run it.

not going to run it to hard, going to keep the 4 banger in it with an intake and header, that's about it. here's a current shot of the progress. thanks again for the time.

PS: You can get the axel shims for between the axel & hub thru Snyders or Mac's
