While working out the pluses and minuses in either ditching or keeping my current rear end, I figured I would do some research on how to mount my rear spring...

My frame is already closed in the rear, so Im either going to have to buy a cross member, (with mount) like the one pete and jakes sells - (no) or create my own..
I bought my rear spring, (posies) from Riley auto and Eric said standard front spring U bolts would be too big..
Watched MFS 5.5 live wire chronicles and saw the adjustable perch from Bob Bleed and it got me thinking about how to make my own...
    Any ideas? Suggestions? pictures?
(yes Ive pmed Bob to see if he sells em)
figuring I might just make a cross member out of pipe, (if needed - may just go directly to the rear of the frame) and weld some flat plates with Bolts going through where I need them??
Any pictures, opinions, suggestions would be great.
    Thanks!
