Technical Model A roadster, Deuce chassis / shell, what rad!?

    Building a model A roadster on a deuce chassis. Using a deuce grill shell. I know I'm going to want to chop the shell get a rad that fits. I plan on spending the bucks on a Johnson's 32 radiator. They sell a 1", 2" , 3" and 6" chopped versions. From everything I've read / seen a 2" chop will look best.     The car will be low, suicide front end, dropped axle etc. Kinda like this...

    Chop the shell til it looks right, then buy the radiator that fits. Might be in stock, might need to be custom made.

    From everything I've read/seen a 2" chop will look best. Curious what the rest of you think?

    A 1931 Model A that matches the body.

    My sons 28 on deuce rails we used 32 rad 3 inches shorter and notched the 32 shell to fit.

    This is what I needed to hear. Sometimes the simplest answer is the best!
