You can see the weld seam in this pic. Quarters are about 80 percent welded and one of the pass side lower corner is almost finished.

Really nice work, I really enjoy watching threads like this that show a body going back together square and perfect. Hell of a nice job!

Mike was thinking about a louvered deck lid, so I pulled the one off of my coupe. What do you think?

Time to work on the top of the quarters and the door jamb area. There was a lot of extra metal here. I already trimmed it back some before I put them on the car.

It needed to be trimmed all around and the "ring" put back in the metal by the latch. Also needed to fill the top corner. Here is how I started the "ring". I borrowed the idea from one of Flop's threads (thank you!).

I forgot to take any pics in progress, but here is a shot with the top finished. Just need to put a couple spot welds in the top to match the way old henry did it.

Thanks for all the positive comments!

This will be the last update for a little while. I am pretty much finished up with everything this go around. It will be coming back into the shop soon. Going to be getting a 32 frame, 52 flathead, t-5 and a banjo.
