    Well Seatex, I don't think I was saying anything about your post since RPU stands for ROADSTER Pickup... Which would make your submission acceptable for this thread. CTJ

    Rich, what can you tell me about those (aluminum?) brackets for the split bones / radius rods? VERY kewl!

    I don't know anything about them other than they're a '50s part.
    I went a completely different route with that car. Still looks basically the same but I started with a better A frame and now the front wishbones are tucked under the frame a little close to the centerline of the car. I'd sell the aluminum brackets if you're interested but I'd have to think for a bit about what i'd want for them.....I haven't thought about 'em in quite a while and have them stashed with some other parts....

    I have a repop set of those, came from ebay. They need final machining to use though, love the look.

    How far was your car's wheelbase (and hood) extended?

    I know it had a Jimmy in it when owned by the father and son team, and I figured the firewall was never recessed.

    One of life's little mysteries.

    It just a model a that I de arched to reverse the eyes. By the way I like your car I checked out the build thred a few times very cool.
