    so here's my fix....

splitting and moving the vents to the wheel wells.. and adding a filter on each...

taking out the T and putting an electric switch over.. the T is -6an,... I got 2 -6an 90's with 3/8''hose barbs. so I can hook to the switching valve and also a -6an straight to hook to the fuel pump line

so am I on the right track???? also my thinking is that when theres no power to the valve,,,it still pulls off one side... then when it gets power it closes that side and opens the other???

    UPDATE.... GOT ER DONE!!...
the tank switching valve worked great in place of the "T"... ran a 18 ga. wire to the dash

pulled the tank switch and it was not the 6 spade, only 3 and found that all it did was tell the fuel in each side......... so I added another 2 spade on / off toggle... so now... in the right position the switcch is off and it runs on the right tank...to the left, the switch is on and pulls fuel from the left tank.... going down the road I can switch to each tank to see how much fuel I have in each tank and not disturb the switching valve..
