Has anyone used a newer jeep back seat as the seat in a model A? I've looked at a couple and they measure just right for my 30 coupe. Any drawbacks other than not being able to adjust position?

I don't know about a jeep seat, but in my 30 A Coupe I used a 3rd Row seat out of a ford Expedition. I had to take 6 inches out of the center of it but when it was re***embled it functions like new. Plus the foam is form fitted and all you need is your new upholstery. Help any.

Well, I run Fiero buckets in my '31, but if your backside's big enough to need a bench seat, well that Dodge Caravan seat looks about right.:)

  8. I used 83 vette buckets in mine, but they need replacing with caravan seats. Those benches are just right and only about 30.00 at the local u-pull-it yard.

65 Mustang seats - nice low buckets that fold forward and allow you access behind. I have Tudor so that's a big deal for me but you may still have some space behind there in a coupe and find it handy.

Has anyone tried to re-upholster one of the mini-van seats (e.g. with a tuck and roll or pleats). Is it possible to do it or do the child seats make it impractical? Thanks.

mini van seats work ok in coupes but not in a pick up coupes have at least 6 inches or more behind the door. a back seat out of a wrangler jeep is too narrow!
ive tried them all , iam gong to custom build the whole thing out of wood then cover it with foam and upholstry
