What are my choices for a rear end on a 29 Sedan?
I would like to run open driveline, and a non-banjo rear.
I see several guys running an S-10 rear, are they using 2wheel or 4wheel and from what years.
Also if I go Ford 8", from what vehicle to get the right width?
    Thanks,
    K

Most rodders use the V8 5 lug Maverick rear end under fendered Model A's. They are 56 inches wide ... measured this way.

If you are going fenderless ... a little wider rear end is OK and if you are channeled ... they are almost necessary.

I think that an s-10 rear end from the 80s will work. Also, you should try to finda rear end off of a Nova.
