Model A sedan tire size updated. can you have too much rake?

    looks like a hot wheels car.... but the tire flows with the wheel opening bead.. so it looks ok, plus you have a blower sticking out the cowl! that just asks for a rake

    There are more hot rods with too little rake, than there are hot rods with too much rake. Rubber rake and chassis rake is good.

    If you run a huffer you are allowed any rake you want.

    Yes its possible on a sedan. My buddy has a chopped one with dropped axle and 15's and it's hard to see the street lights and stuff high up or way up ahead. It looks bad ass but not functional. I keep telling him to run 16's or taller front tires..

    I don't think my 10 yr old boy will ever let anyone elses name on the title:) Thanks for all the reply's I'm glad to see so many positives. I've been a little worried on the build seeing how it's our first.

    Looks great! I went with smaller front wheels/tires on my 46 and was very pleased with the rake.

    Ah, YES! Rake perfection...

    I have to laugh at some of the negative posts on this thread, "too much rake," "too high in back"... Hell, look at the tire radius in the fender well. Right is right, and this is right.
