Anybody happen to have a pic of one? The more threads I read about the problems with front cycle style fenders the more I am thinking of just running bobbed rears and no fronts.....mistake?

You may find that your rear fenders will get some road rash from the stuff thrown off the front tires. As it is, I get a little in the lower part of my rear fenders even with the cycle fenders. Come to think of it, running boards served more than one function.

What "problems" are had with cycle-style front fenders? I had them for over 30 years and never had a problem.

I concur, no problem; if built correct. These ran a lot of years , before I got them; and I have run them about 25 years : 4170E49E-7D02-4EFC-A9D8-3573B742B984.jpeg A6C7BACC-335B-4026-A8E6-BFEA58A413D8.jpeg 2714A11D-CA88-4217-9295-0AA9BB7CD9A2.jpeg

Even with front fenders your rear fenders may get rock chips if there's no running boards. Just the price we pay for looking cool. I accept that part.

Yeah -- almost covered the cost of the Bonneville transition. I sold the seat pan and the door upholstery.
