    How about a photoshop?

These things are actually more common than you would think.
Coker Tires are actually thinking of repoping the back tyres.

I could swear I've seen those paddle tires in another Model A catalog - Snyder's maybe?

I wonder how the foremost axle was mounted on the car in that picture?

Pretty cool. My uncle just bought an old snowcat. It have 4 sets of tracks and uses a Dodge powerwagon frame with a jeep like cab and custom hod and grill.

I couldn't find a pic of one like his, but picture a one piece hood on the first one with the treads from the 2nd.

I owe a good friend a favor, if anyone has a lead on a Model T Ford Snowmobile I'd like to know about it. Wouldn't turn down a Model A conversion either. [IMG]

How do you get in the "A"? it looks like the tracks cover the doors so they won't open.

Saw a similar one in Montana years ago. It had the bottom part of the p***enger door cut from the upper part. The bottom 1/3 didn't open. The upper 2 hinges allowed the upper part of the door to work fine. Most of those snowmobile conversions were reversable so you could switch back to wheels in the summer.

Believe it or not there was a rough Model A snowmobile for sale down here in sunny Florida at the Sumter County swap meet a couple of months back. Also as a sidenote, Ford had a nitro burning Boss 302 powered snowmobile/rail used for some kind of promotion in the early `70's. I wish I could find some pics for you as it was very cool.

Yeah, you can see the door is open on the other side of the a- prolly has the half-door setup.

Saw a Model A at Latimore this year. They used to make a conversion for VW's too.
