Huh? Ok I rapping up the 28 sedan project and got one of these Lebarron Bonney top kits. I've also got the new wood header piece and a steel visor. I need some pics to see what it is suppose to look like. I guess the top material gets rapped around the header piece and then it gets bolted on? If I could see what one looks like I could pull it off, but I don't want to screw it all up. Thanks, Bob
Awsome thanks! The problem is that that header peice looks to be metal, mine is wood. I think maybe I'm missing the metal header cover? Is there another way this is done with the fabric folding down over the front of the header?
I have a wood header and the metal (Visor and sides) sits on top and is nailed to the wood. The hide-em strip gets nailed to the wood through the sheet metal. Be sure to use ring shank nails or they will eventually back out of the wood. My top is not the stock design, but I think the header pic shows the general principle. The Alluminum end you can see is nailed to the header through the metal. Hope this helps TZ
Here's one I did- it has a wood header sticking out above the metal visor. I stretched the vinyl around the wood and attatched it where the visor would cover it. This is the best pic I have that shows the front of the top, even though it's really a pic of the seats.
Kind of makes you want to Weld a roof on it!!! No wonder the kit was so cheap..., it makes up for all of the effort you have to put into it!! Need help..., or do you preffer to cuss alone??? Mark
I probably won't be putting it on until Fri or Sat, it's chopped now though...... I gotta visit my grandma and finish the Mad Fab song tonight.
