I like what you did with the windshield, that is the part of coupsters that always hurts my eyes.

I love this build. I don't know why, but it all seems a little simpler than the other projects I have seen lately. Clean, low chrome, neat work. Cool job, keep on truckin.

Lookin forward to seeing her all done.

i think i did a pretty good job keeping it looking as close to factory as i can with low funds ..i may still chop the winsheild frame and stanchions a little more after its all done i want it to have the perfect stance when the top is up or down...

anyway so he was making fun of my bent weenie looking mustang short shifter so i said i can find what im looking for i wanted a swan neck style early shifter so he says ill be right back so hes upstairs in his shop rumageing around in his gigantic parts pile of goodness and comes back with this sick looking swan style international shifter i was like o crap so i said yes looks perfect so tis the eason he hooks me up with it ( thanks ) t.j and i go to work it was a little to long do i had to section it into 3 parts i welded it back together and boom looks period perfect.

so nothing really to do but wait on parts for the motor i mounted the spoon gas pedal finally
    [IMG]
after that i figured i would mount some dash jewels for the head light and blinkers
    [IMG]
after that i started running the rear brake lines but ran into a problem with the spliter in the back i need one for a 7/16ths fitting the one i had was 5/16ths so have to order that to finish the connection for the lines .

here is a small update on the coupester high boy build, well i had to push it out side so i could turn it around i had my young nephew steer the car as myself and my older brother pushed it the kid loves hot rods i hope to inspire him to build a car when he is old enough ..

still have to finish wiring up the motor, bleed the brakes, cut a drive shaft, pluming, and than cosmetics the top,the splash aprons on the side, the fog lights, rear veiw mirrors and somemore wood work nothing that hard

  22. Hope you put two seats in that bad boy, I think you'll need 'em!
Great car, can't wait to see it done!:D

yea there is 2 seats i used a dodge durango 2nd roe seat i cut out the center console and rewelded it back together what noone knows is that the seats fold foward and than theres a latch to release the seat and it flips up so you can store stuff under the seat theres like 12 inches under the seat so you can counter sink a panel and put stuff under the seat as you see it in the picture it is flipped fowward so now its a single seat .

It's looking MEGA sweet. Such a great budget build, and I mean that in all admiration. I'm wanting to do the same thing, but my dreams are evil and lead me into financial temptation. I need to use your build to get back on the straight and narrow, so that I can avoid both financial devastation and the wrath of the wife. ;)

I love this build more every time you update. The ride height really works well.

PS...can we get some 3/4 wide shots of it?

I really like your approach to building this. It's giving me incentive to start on my 29 coupe, seeing it can be done without spending a bundle.

The shot you last posted is a side shot, others are more from the dead on front. If you go half way between a dead on front and a dead on side, you've got a 3/4 :) You can see all of the grill and all the way down the side.
