Hope this is appropriate for this forum.
Making a belly tank race car and using Model A axle, spindles, etc. Bought some drop steering arms for a model A. However the distance between the threaded holes on the arms is different than the distance between the holes of the model A backing plates and holes on spindles. Any suggestions what is wrong...? Thanks

The bolt on drop steering arms that are used in the hot rod industry are designed to use with 1937 to 1948 spindles.

The popular 37-48 spindles will fit right on to your A axle by using the kingpins that match the spindle.
